Foot Taiyang - BL Channel

Pathway

The Urinary Bladder channel originates from the inner canthus at Jingming (BL 1), ascends across the forehead towards Shenting (GV 24) and Toulinqi (GB 15), then goes upward to the vertex of the head towards Baihui (GV 20) where a branch arises, running to the temple and crossing Qubin (GB 7) through Wangu (GB 12)

The straight branch enters into the brain, then descends along the posterior aspect of the neck, crossing Naohu (GV 17), towards Tianzhu (BL 10). It then crosses Dazhui (GV 14) and Taodao (GV 13) to pass through to Dazhu (BL 11) and heads down to Weizhong (BL 40), entering the KI organ and BL organ along the way.

The branch of the lumbar region descends through the gluteal region and ends at the popliteal fossa.

The branch from the posterior aspect of the neck runs straight down along the medial border of the scapula from Fufen (BL 41), crossing Huantiao (GB 30), down to Zhiyin (BL 67), where it connect with the KI channel.
