Xiaochangshu (BL 27)

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the midline, at the level of the 1st posterior sacral foramen.

Indications
  • Lower abdominal pain, distension
  • Hematuria, enuresis, dysentery
  • Nocturnal emission, morbid leukorrhea
  • Lower back pain, sciatica
Applications
  • Regulates the Intestines and Bladder, and Small Intestine qi
  • Separates the pure from the turbid
  • Drains dampness, clears damp-heat

Needle perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 cun.
