Huatuojiaji (Ex-B2)

Location

A group of 34 points on both sides of the spinal column, 0.5 cun lateral to the lower border of each spinous process from the 1st thoracic vertebra to the 5th lumbar vertebra.

Indications
  • T1-T4: Diseases of the Lung and upper limbs
  • T4-T7: Diseases of the Heart and chest region
  • T7-T10: Diseases of the Liver, Gallbladder, and the abdominal region
  • T10-T12: Diseases of the Stomach, Spleen, and the abdominal region
  • L1-L2: Diseases of the Kidneys and the lower limbs
  • L3-L5: Diseases of the Bladder, Large and Small Intestines, uterus, and lower limbs
  • All points treat local pain and stiffness
Applications
  • Regulates and harmonizes the 5 zang and 6 fu organs
Techniques

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 cun in the thoracic region. Puncture perpendicularly 1.0-1.5 cun in the lumbar region. Moxibustion applicable.
