Qipang (Ex-CA2)

Location

Create and equilateral triangle having the sides the width of the patient's mouth. Place the superior vertex of the triangle at Shenque (CV 8). The points are the lower two corners of the triangle.

Indications
  • Hernia
  • Chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, ben tun (running piglet)
Applications
  • Regulates qi and alleviates pain

Moxibustion only.

Remarks

Qipang is also known as Qisanjiaofa (臍三角法, qí sān jiǎo fǎ) or Sanjiaojiu (三角灸, sān jiǎo jiǔ).
