Fuyuan (T 11.22)

Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 11.22 Fuyuan, is three-point set on the palmar aspect of the ring finger, along the ulnar margin of the proximal phalangeal bone (line D). Divide the proximal phalanx into fourths, and locate these three points at 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 the distance between the MCP and PIP joints.

Notes:

For palmar finger points, measure from the palmar digital crease to the proximal interphalangeal crease rather than from MCP to PIP joints.
This finger line system for locating Zone 11 points is adopted from "Advanced Tung Style Acupuncture: Dao Ma" by James Maher.

Primary:

Bone swelling, osteoarthritis

Secondary:

Tendonitis
Sciatica, back pain
Bone spurs, bone cancer
