Shiqizhuixia (Ex-B8)

Location

Below the spinous process of the 5th lumbar vertebra.

Indications
  • Lumbar pain, thigh pain, paralysis of the lower extremities
  • Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea
Applications
  • Tonifies the Kidneys
  • Activates qi and blood
  • Alleviates pain
Techniques

Puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 cun. Moxibustion applicable.

This point is also known as Shiqizhui.
