This point is on the KI channel and 1 cun posterior and 2 cun proximal to the tip of the medial malleolus. It is 2 cun proximal to Taixi (KI 3), which is in the depression midway between the tip of the medial malleolus and the attachment of the Achilles tendon. Some references state that this point overlaps with Fuliu (KI 7) or Jiaoxin (KI 8).
