Sihuawai (T 77.14)

Location

This point is on the ST channel, 7.5 cun distal and 1.5 cun lateral to Dubi (ST 35), which is in the depression lateral to the patella ligament on the knee, close to Tiaokou (ST 38) and Fenglong (ST 40).

Indications
Primary: 
  • Acute enteritis, chronic enteritis
  • Upper back pain
  • Mastitis
Secondary: 
  • Abdominal distention, appendix pain
  • Toothache, migraines, ear pain, intercostal neuralgia, shoulder pain, arm pain, lateral epicondylitis, sciatica, instep pain, sole pain
  • Facial paralysis
  • Eyeball disorders
  • Hypertension, headache, high cholesterol leading to dizziness, myocardial infarct
  • Pneumonia
  • Neurasthenia

Techniques
