Location

On the anterior midline, 1 cun above the umbilicus.

Indications
  • Abdominal pain, borborygmus, diarrhea
  • Edema, retention of the urine
Contraindications: 
Contraindicated during pregnancy
Applications
  • Regulates the water passages and transforms dampness
  • Harmonizes the Intestines, dispels accumulation
Techniques

Needle perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 cun. Deep insertion is not advisable as it may puncture the peritoneal cavity.
