Location

With the patient in supine position and with arms lifted, this point is on the anterior midline, 1 cun below the xiphoid process of the sternum.

  • Cardiac and chest pain
  • Nausea
  • Mental disorders, epilepsy
Applications
  • Regulates the Heart, calms the spirit
  • Descends Lung qi, loosens the chest
Techniques

Needle obliquely downward 0.4-0.6 cun. Oblique insertion towards the heart is contraindicated.
