- Needle the following points on the side opposite the pain: Lingdao (HT 4), Tongli (HT 5), Shenmen (HT 7), Xuanzhong (GB 39), Shugu (BL 65)

Jin’s Squamous Three Needles 靳氏颞三针 which includes three needles inserted downwardly, crossing the Squamous suture above the ears in the approximate area of *Shuaigu* (GB 8) and *Tianchong* (GB 9). For treating ear dysfunction and dizziness on the same side, needle the affected side. When treating paralysis, needle the opposite side.
