- Needle ah shi points on the opposite wrist: Yangxi (LI 5), Yangchi (TH 4), Wangu (SI 4) to Yanggu (SI 5), Jingqu (LU 8) to Taiyuan (LU 9), Shenmen (HT 7), Daling (PC 7)
- Needle all ah shi points on the opposite ankle: Zhongfeng (LR 4), Shangqiu (SP 5), Taixi (KI 3), Kunlun (BL 60), Qiuxu (GB 40), Jiexi (ST 41)
- Elbow pain:
- Wrist pain:
- Needle the opposite side of the pain. If the pain is bilateral, needle bilaterally.
- Shoulder pain : Shangqiu (SP 5), Zhongfeng (LR 4), Jiexi (ST 41), Qiuxu (GB 40), two needles from Kunlun (BL 60) to Pushen (BL 61), needle halfway between Jiexi (ST 41) and Qiuxu (GB 40), 2-3 needles from Fenglong (ST 40) to Jiexi (ST 41)
- Elbow pain (lateral) : Needle in front and behind Yanglingquan (GB 34) or the fibula, Yangjiao (GB 35), Waiqiu (GB 36), Guangming (GB 37)
- Elbow pain (medial) : Yingu (KI 10), thread needle from Ququan (LR 8) to Yinlingquan (SP 9)
- Wrist pain (on the HT channel) : Needle ashi points from Taixi (KI 3) to Fuliu (KI 7)
- Wrist pain (on the PC channel) : Needle ashi points from Zhongfeng (LR 4) to Xiguan (LR 7)

- Hand and finger pain : Needle opposite side foot and toe images. For example, left lateral finger pain on the metacarpal phalangeal joint, needle right lateral metatarsal phalgeal join on the toe.
- Identify the location of the pain and determine the muscle group involved. Second, choose a vessel that deliver blood to this jingjin. Third, choose vessels that treat the painful muscles. Finally, choose the correct area or zone based on imaging to needle.
- Arm Pain (Coracobrachialis, Flexor Carpi Radialis, Pronator Quadratus, or Flexor Digitorum Profundus/PC Channel): Bilateral - 3 needles evenly spaced from Zhongzhu (TH 3) to Tianjing (TH 10), Taichong (LR 3) to Ququan (LR 8), Dubi (ST 35) to Xiangu (ST 43)
- Arm Pain (Triceps Brachii Medial Head, Brachialis, Pronator Teres, Palmaris Longus and Brevis/Flexor Digitorum Superficialis/HT Channel): Bilateral - 3 needles evenly spaced from Wangu (SI 4) to Xiaohai (SI 8), Taixi (KI 3) to Yingu (KI 10), Yanglingquan (GB 34) to Qiuxu (GB 40)
- Arm Pain (Biceps Brachii Short Head, Brachioradialis, Flexor Pollicis Longus and Brevis/LU Channel): Bilateral - 3 needles evenly spaced from Hegu (LI 4) to Quchi (LI 11), Shangqiu (SP 5) to Yinlingquan (SP 9), Weizhong (BL 40) to Shugu (BL 65)
- Arm Pain (Triceps Brachii Long Head, Flexor Carpi Ulnaris/SI Channel): Bilateral - 3 needles evenly spaced from Shaohai (HT 3) to Shaofu (HT 8), Weizhong (BL 40) to Shugu (BL 65), Xingjian (LR 2) to Ququan (LR 8)
- Arm Pain (Triceps Brachii Lateral Head, Extensor Digiti Minimi, Anconeus, Extensor Carpi Ulnaris/TH Channel): Bilateral - 3 needles evenly spaced from Yanglingquan (GB 34) to Qiuxu (GB 40), Quze (PC 3) to Laogong (PC 8), Zhaohai (KI 6) to Yingu (KI 10)
- Elbow Pain: Bilateral - 5 needles on the medial side and 5 on the lateral side of the knees. Palpate for ah shi points.
- Hand Pain: If the dorsum of the hand hurts, needle the dorsum and the palmar sides of the opposite hand. Needle the top or bottom of both feet in the correct corresponding anatomical areas. For pain of the extremities, it is better to use anatomical points, which match the area of the pain on the affected area.
- Wrist Pain: Bilateral - 2 needles on each yin channel of the ankle. Palpate for ah shi points.
- Finger Pain: If the pain is on the dorsal side, needle the dorsal side of the corresponding toe joints. If the pain is on the ventral side, needle the ventral side of the corresponding toe joints. Use as many needles as necessary to relieve the pain.

- Elbow pain: Shuanglongyi (T 77.29)*, Shuanglonger (T 77.30)*, Tianhuangfu [shenguan] (T 77.18), Tianhuang (T 77.17), Linggu (T 22.05) ipsilaterally. Bleed Tianzong (SI 11), Sihuawai (T 77.14), jing (well) points of affected channels.
- Wrist pain: Sizhi (T 77.20), Huozhu (T 66.04), Qiuxu (GB 40) threaded to Zhaohai (KI 6), Shuiyu (T 44.17). Bleed Tianzong (SI 11), jing (well) points of affected channels.
- Shoulder pain: Tianhuangfu [shenguan] (T 77.18), Zuwujin (T 77.25), Zuqianjin (T 77.24), Tiaokou (ST 38), Chize (LU 5)
- Elbow pain: Shangjiuli (T 88.26), Zhongjiuli (T 88.25), Xiajiuli (T 88.27), Fengshi (GB 31), Yanglingquan (GB 34)
